Dr. Sovietraj basically born & brought up at Ambur, having her schooling from Hindu Higher Secondary School & Concordia Higher Secondary School, Ambur. She completed her MBBS from Stanley Medical College & Masters in Obstetrics & Gynaecology - MD from CMC Hospital - Vellore. She has worked as a Consultant - Head of the Department OBS & GYNAE in Bethesda Hospital from 1999 - 2004.

Now She is  working in kuwait for the last seven years. Though she is very well placed at Kuwait, ,still her heart is attached with Ambur and she is looking forward to settle at Ambur.
